Payment Methods?
We have different modes of completing a sale that make it difficult to cover with a turn key shopping cart solution
You are probably used to a single 'Buy Now' button. This works well for traditional eBay type purchases, but the bottom line is it cannot work in the best interest of the client because of the variables involved with the potential to use 5 different payment methods to cover as many different shipping options for as many different countries... ALSO, where possible we can identify where recent manufacturer's coupons and discounts may be applied but not advertised, and identify those purchasing opportunites for you. We employ a slightly different business model, you are using us to work in your best interest.
Within those categories there are further complications in terms of calculating HST plus sales tax for individual provinces, adjusting for items that have gone out of stock at the last minute, items we suspect the client has ordered incorrectly and might need to be corrected, or making arrangements in advance for local pickup. So the simplest method to address all these needs is to use the "Purchase Order " method. It works like this, the client chooses all the items they want from the list below (which already shows a discounted price for Interac payments), fills in their details, and submits it to us. We then do all the appropriate calculations and send it back to the client with instructions for making payment via the method that they have chosen. Once we submit an Invoice to the client for payment, we will hold the items for 24hrs. After that the items will be released back into general inventory in case they are short stocked and wanted by someone else. In the event a client does submit payment after 24hrs, and we no longer have stock of an item, it will be at the clients discretion to obtain a full or partial refund, or consider an adjustment for alternative product. If we raise any Red Flags when we look at the order, we will advise the client by email, or if it's something that needs to be discussed (such as we think they have ordered incompatible items in error) we may phone them.
